Millions of stray animals fight for survival each year on India's streets. Without shelter over their heads, they struggle to find food, becoming vulnerable to disease and injuries. Sometimes, they even get abused and tortured by miscreants.
At TACO, we're committed to change this story. We aim to promote kindness towards animals and provide them with top-notch veterinary care. We envision a world where animals have access to food, shelter, necessary medical care, and most importantly the love and care they deserve.
Many stray animals are sick and malnourished which makes their survival tough. Timely intervention and proper veterinary care are crucial for them. It can prevent minor illness or injury from progressing into severe and life-threatening conditions.
Through dedicated rescue efforts, we home abandoned and stray animals, offering them a second chance to a healthy and happy life. Our animal ambulance allows us to reach animals in distress and bring them to our shelter for necessary medical aid. Our responsibility extends beyond just providing medical treatment, it also includes providing them with love, nutritious food, and safe shelter.

We have treated over 59,652 animals across Vedanta‘s business units, vaccinated over 950, and rescued 4,850 animals during natural calamities. Additionally, we have distributed around 2,000 water bowls to keep animals hydrated, offered 214 treatments and 609 OPD services in the shelter.
These are not just numbers. These are the lives saved and given a second chance for a better life. But our work doesn't stop here. Everyone can be a part of the solution. There are many ways to support stray animals in need, from volunteering at shelters to donating essential supplies. Giving food and water daily can also help provide much-needed nourishment for stray animals.
Let's offer them the care they deserve and build a more compassionate world.
