Our Certainty
I shared an illustration of something the other day, and the idea has been lodged in my mind: in the piece about #WorkingOutLoud?i said that part of this philosophy was to ‘hold your?certainty?lightly’.
Certainty can trap us in two ways: firstly, we can stand on it in the belief that it is a rock (when in fact it may simply be a belief), and secondly, it can stand in the way of what we really need to know, blocking out the light.
It’s worth considering if your work, your practice, your understanding, holds too much certainty (or not enough).
