Our Body and Mind Balance are Interconnected

We all know that our body and mind balance are interconnected. So when our physical balance is damaged, ultimately it will impact our mental balance and vice versa. A commonplace for us to begin, so as to lose weight and experience our ideal shape, feel more energized, or just eat in a more healthful, balanced way, we often change our dietary habits. We can end up doing this (more often than not!) without professional guidance and after a while we can end up with more challenges than we began with, or at best, no results (at least results that we wanted!)

We’re all so different, and I’ve found after working with clients since 1992, and no one size fits all. A tailored approach is a way to go.

Joe’s story can be inspiring and useful for those of us who are looking for solutions when it comes to personalized, optimal, results-based nutrition -?

"When I first saw Fi I was experiencing digestive issues (cramps and immediate gas from any meal) after extended water fast and 1-year raw vegan diet. I had noticed an ongoing lethargic weakness and depression.

During our consult, we talked about the benefits of changing my diet back to include more cooked food and the potential value this could have for my digestive tract. I noticed after my treatment that my body released tension in my stomach, colon, and liver. I also appreciate the simple method Fi taught me to gently release my ileocecal valve myself which was quite tight and reactive.

I also received benefits mentally from our discussion and Fi’s after-care which relaxed my mind. It also helped me see the possibility of a new dietary approach and yoga routine to regain my inner, core strength.

I especially appreciate Fi’s nondogmatic approach (which I find very rare in today’s health world). And her widespread knowledge on diet and general health and wellbeing, plus her great care-fullness. I enjoy Fi’s clear and calming focus – including during my consultation, and I find her very compassionate on all occasions. Thanks a lot Fi!"

nice work. I have always believed that there is a need for balance. In business, we discuss the balancing of the books. Hopefully, there will be a rich reserve to use for emergencies. The reserve is like a reservoir to be used when times get tough or there is an investment to be made urgently. Just like business though the reserves are often depleted as we struggle to find the energy to cope with the ups and downs of business pressure. Thus the importance of optimizing our well-being to have the reserves required. So that we can operate our businesses and life at an optimal level. The body and mind can not do it alone. The body and mind need optimal care, sustenance, and nutrition. Statistics that always blows my mind - our brain weighs 2 kg yet at night it requires 20% of our body's energy reserves to repair the body and file away all the events of the day before during our sleep. It is the same brain that operates our body 100% of the time while we are awake. This too requires energy.
