Our birthday month summed up…
June, that's a wrap.
What’s been happening over the month of June at Loud Llama, you ask? Well, to put it simply, A LOT.?
For various reasons, it’s been another busy month, packed full of client visits, exciting business opportunities, events, milestones and plenty of fun! Who knew you could get so much done in 30 days ??
Read on for a round-up of our best bits and all the achievements that our team and clients have accomplished lately.
Celebrating turning two!
Two years ago, Loud Llama was born. We’ve nursed this agency from the ground up to be a workplace people are proud to be a part of, a place that encourages employee growth and personal success, and a place that businesses come to knowing they’re going to see and achieve remarkable results.?
Our team may be small but our momentous ideas and personable approach set us aside from other agencies. Staying true to our South Wales roots, we show businesses that solutions don’t have to come with the hefty price tag of a London agency.?
We celebrated this milestone with our clients, family and friends at our new office in Newport Market. It was so special to have a room full of people that believe in us as and our vision ???
We have big, big plans for next year with a lot of exciting things in the pipeline, so watch this space...
Unmissable office additions
This month, we took standing out to a whole new level with the addition of our eye-catching new window stickers! We truly now feel at home in our office.
Big thank you to Newport City Signs for the installation.
Celebrating success for clients, past and present!
What a month it’s been, not only for ourselves but our clients too! We’d like to take a moment to celebrate Zoe Trigwell, founder of Trigwell Cosmetics, a Newport-based beauty brand making big moves.
Zoe has worked tirelessly to grow her business as a one-man band and things are really starting to take off having landed a partnership with the one and only Beauty Bay! We attended the announcement party where the news was unveiled and what a special moment it was, catch it here:
From one start-up to another, we understand how monumental this is. Cheers to further success within our circle! ??
Making wishes come true ?
Dreams & Wishes is a volunteer-led charity dedicated to helping seriously ill children by making their dreams and wishes come true. Our director, Paris, sits on the board of the charity and at Loud Llama we support them with pro-bono PR and social media services.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of a few very special volunteers, dozens of wishes have been granted this month, including moments like this.
Eden not only watched Ed Sheeran live at?Principality Stadium?but even received this amazing photo of him wearing her t-shirt too!

We are so proud to play a tiny part in helping the charity and families they support - it's a cause very close to all of our hearts and we will continue to ensure Dreams and Wishes remain at the forefront of media conversation.
Out 'n' About ??
Client meetings, a blogger event and speed dating…business style, the Herd have been getting out ‘n’ about a lot this month.
We kick-started June in the best way possible, surrounded by food and friendly faces. Daisy took time away from her usual Social Media Account Management role and tried her hand at event planning to put on a foodie extravaganza event for hospitality client, Ye Olde Bull Inn Caerleon.
The night was a celebration of a new menu and a total success to sum up. Our hard work paid off and the positive reviews have come flooding in, although, we can’t say we’re surprised - the food is to die for!
Educating ourselves and others
Continuing with the theme of food… Paris recently enjoyed a lunch with the team at The Alacrity Foundation. Tucked away at Raglan Country Estate in Monmouthshire, this networking event was an opportunity to chat with business owners and mentors and share expertise and knowledge.?Rumour has it the venue is gorgeous so if you're ever in the area, check it out.
Next up: Speed dating, business style. When the invitation came from Cardiff Metropolitan to be part of a ‘speed mentoring’ session at Cardiff Met Uni, Paris knew she had to get involved. This event provided a chance for students to meet industry experts and pitch their business ideas in response for valuable support and advice.
Focusing on that work-life balance
When we’re not in the office or WFH, you can sometimes still find us out with clients and fellow agencies. After all, we’re all about a genuine work/life balance here. We were lucky enough to receive a hospitality invite from Dan and Mikey at Populate Social to join them at Glamorgan Cricket along with Mallows Beauty and Storm & Shelter. As expected, we had a class evening (can't say we learned any more about cricket mind...).
Client catch-ups
Since the pandemic, the future of work has changed. We were forced to take client calls from the comfort of our sofas and say goodbye to face-to-face meetings, something we all found hard to adjust to.
The new normal for us is very much a flexible hybrid model, however, the importance of face-to-face meetings has never been so clear. We take time to visit the businesses and teams we work with, to truly understand our clients' company and culture.
This month we paid a visit to Llanmoor Homes where we enjoyed a tour of the active developments and used the opportunity to get some new content.
Hello summer hours ??
Summer is finally here (apparently ??) and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the sunshine makes an appearance again. After all, we recently announced a new Summer perk for the team that enables us to make the most of the longer days. Everyone can finish at 1pm on a Thursday or Friday of their choice up to 6 times from July-September, pretty cool, right?
So, that's June wrapped up, time to gear up for another busy month and some well-earned holidays...
We’ll be back with another monthly round up before you even know it!?
