Our Bad Nature Is Killing Us

Our Bad Nature Is Killing Us

One day soon we're going to figure out that when we hurt other people, we're actually hurting ourselves. I know it sounds like some old cliche, but it's really true. If we understood how connected we are, and how dependent we are on each other, we would go out of our way to treat other people the way we would want to be treated. But there's a slight flaw with this plan, and that's our bad nature. We're not really familiar with it yet, and don't speak in these terms yet, but soon it will all seem very normal.

There's a slight flaw with this plan, and that's our bad nature. We're not really familiar with it yet, and don't speak in these terms yet, but soon it will all seem very normal.

Our True Purpose in Life

Our whole purpose in life is simple - to rise above our bad nature, and overcome it. This is how we become better and more evolved humans, and how we start establishing the right ties with nature.

Both our good and bad natures are constantly wrestling inside?each of us. We need to use the good side of us to beat the bad, and transform it to good. That's what all these things we're going through are really about.

If it weren't for our bad nature we wouldn't have anything to overcome, and wouldn't feel like we're achieving anything significant in our lives. Without this, we wouldn't actually feel anything at all.

Each of us needs to think whether we have a good or bad nature. We need to understand the relationship between them, and figure out how to overcome the bad with the good. Because the whole purpose of our lives is to learn how to transform our bad nature into good.

What is good? People who really care about everyone else, even to the point where they go out of their way to help others. Overcoming our bad nature is really the only way to truly come out of ourselves and care for others. In our current egoistic format, where we're still trying to find fulfillment in our egoistic systems that are no longer functioning, it will be impossible to transform ourselves to good. We need a completely fresh environment and new thinking for enabling this transformation to happen.

Without understanding the vast benefits of human connection, we won't be able to rid ourselves of our bad nature. We'll leave this world without having achieved our only purpose for being here - overcoming our bad nature to reach our full human potential.

Strengthening our connection with others allows us to expand our worldview. Gradually we'll begin to understand how we’re designed, and how the whole point of our existence is to overcome our bad nature together.

We need to overcome it so we can acquire the good force - the force of bestowal - meaning the ability to genuinely care for others. The ability to come out of our narrow little shells and feel others outside ourselves.

We need to learn to care for others as much as we care for ourselves - that’s the bottom line.

Bullying and The Human Ego

We love to think our kids are so sweet, but the truth is that they're born very egoistic. We think we're dealing with good little people but we're dealing with a chunk of ego. We overlook their faults though, because they're totally up front about what they do. Nothing is concealed. Us grownups hide our ego, and that’s what we dislike about each other - that people pretend to be good.

Our world is completely built on ego - and we have to gradually fix this.

So if we really want to become better people, we're going to have to wish for our nature to be transformed to good.

None of us can do this on our own. Making room inside ourselves for others, can only be achieved by learning to connect in the correct way with others.

This is currently our greatest challenge. And once we start heading in this direction, everything will be a lot better. We'll stop seeking fulfillment inside our narrow egos, because we'll be fully aware that we won't ever be able to feel fulfilled that way.
