Our Assurance in Jesus Christ Alone
Part Two
In This Lesson we will start out with the Two Questions I asked at end of our last lesson, and be ready the next two lessons will start the very same way, so please do answer them, I am sure they will greatly encourage you.
?
Two Questions I Beg you to Answer
The Blood Of Christ Does Is Purchase Some Of Your Sins Or All Of Them?
The Blood Of Christ, Does It Purchase Some Of Your Soul Or All Of It?
?
?
As with our last lesson, ?we will focusing on the often under taught theme of our Assurance in Jesus Christ,
We hear lessons on our “Hope” in Christ, and yet in a 20th 21st Century understanding of this “Hope” we fall short of stressing the 1st Century understanding as FULL Assurance, and as such we will be learning that our Rescue in Jesus is truly IN FULL, by the will of the FATHER, and through the awakening of the HOLY SPIRIT, so in fact the work of the TRIUNE GOD alone is the Author, Awakener, and Assurance of our Redemption and Salvation.
As our eyes, LORD Willing, are opened to this Foundational understanding it will allow us to understand the completeness of the Purchase of our Sins, and Souls in Jesus Christ, and YES, it is fully complete.
Please from your heart answer the two questions at the beginning of the Lesson, and I am sure you will know the true of answer to these questions.

First Reading
Genesis 22
Ge 22:1 ? Now it came about after these things, that God tested Abraham, and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
?2 He said, "Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you."
?3 ? So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him and Isaac his son; and he split wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.
?4 On the third day Abraham raised his eyes and saw the place from a distance.
?5 Abraham said to his young men, "Stay here with the donkey, and I and the lad will go over there; and we will worship and return to you."
?6 Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son, and he took in his hand the fire and the knife. So the two of them walked on together.
?7 Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, "My father!" And he said, "Here I am, my son." And he said, "Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?"
?8 Abraham said, "God will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son." So the two of them walked on together.
?9 Then they came to the place of which God had told him; and Abraham built the altar there and arranged the wood, and bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood.
?10 Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.
?11 ? But the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, "Abraham, Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
?12 He said, "Do not stretch out your hand against the lad, and do nothing to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me."
?13 Then Abraham raised his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him a ram caught in the thicket by his horns; and Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up for a burnt offering in the place of his son.
?14 Abraham called the name of that place The LORD Will Provide, as it is said to this day, "In the mount of the LORD it will be provided."
?15 ? Then the angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time from heaven,
?16 and said, "By Myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son,
?17 indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies.
?18 "In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice."
?19 So Abraham returned to his young men, and they arose and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham lived at Beersheba.
?20 ? Now it came about after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, "Behold, Milcah also has borne children to your brother Nahor:
?21 Uz his firstborn and Buz his brother and Kemuel the father of Aram
?22 and Chesed and Hazo and Pildash and Jidlaph and Bethuel."
?23 Bethuel became the father of Rebekah; these eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham's brother.
?24 His concubine, whose name was Reumah, also bore Tebah and Gaham and Tahash and Maacah.

Christian What Do You Believe?
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, dead, and buried:
He descended into hell;
The third day he rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost;
The Holy Catholic Church;
The Communion of Saints;
The Forgiveness of sins;
The Resurrection of the body,
And the Life everlasting.
Amen.

Second Reading & Lesson
John 15
1 ? "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
?2 "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.
?3 "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
?4 "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.
?5 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
?6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.
?7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
?8 "My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.
?9 ? "Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love.
?10 "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.
?11 "These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
?12 "This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.
?13 "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.
?14 "You are My friends if you do what I command you.
?15 "No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.
?16 "You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

?17 "This I command you, that you love one another.
?18 ? "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.
?19 "If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.
?20 "Remember the word that I said to you, 'A slave is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also.
?21 "But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me.
?22 "If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin.
?23 "He who hates Me hates My Father also.
?24 "If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well.
?25 "But they have done this to fulfill the word that is written in their Law, 'THEY HATED ME WITHOUT A CAUSE.'
?26 ? "When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me,
?27 and you will testify also, because you have been with Me from the beginning.

The Holy Gospel Of Our LORD Jesus Christ
Response By All: All Glory To YOU LORD Christ
?
Assurance in Christ
Part Two
We Stay with the very important reading from the Gospel of John as we by the enlightening of the HOLY SPIRIT focus on the work of the Vinedresser and HIS Tender care, full attention paid to the Branch. As we said in our last Vinedresser passage normally gets an incorrect treatment, as it somehow is treated by the Pastor as the branch is grafted into the vine, and is the focus, but NO mention is made of the powerlessness of the branch to do anything to regenerating itself.
The normal treatment drops the Absolute Dependance on the VINE DRESSER (THE FATHER) the Life given in the VINE (Jesus Christ) and the Flowing of the Life-giving WATERS (THE HOLY SPIRIT). Since ALL of these HANDS need to be FULLY present in Our or the Branch’s Regeneration, it then becomes the Central point of the Message.
So. in point the Pastors should have been aware of the Total reliance of our TRIUNE GOD (VINEDRESSER (FATHER), VINE (SON), SAP (HOLY SPIRIT)) in our Salvation Period!!
As we walk into the lesson it is important to focus on the Work of the LORD, and thus Our FULL Assurance of Redemption and Forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
?
Who Is Active, and Who Is Passive?
This is a Paramount understanding of this Passage, and We again Pray the HOLY SPIRIT open our Eyes to just WHO is providing ALL of the Action in the grafting of the Branches.
I need to be blunt, the Arminianist View that has polluted the Vast Majority of Western Religious Christianity and that includes, Anglican, Rome, Baptist, OPC, PCA, PCUSA, just to shockingly for some name a few, actually see the Branch as needing to be active, when the Branch is fully incapable of regenerating itself, as we too are incapable of such.
We get to see by GOD’S Mercy the Full Purchase of Christ eliminates the terms, Backslider, The need of a Purgatory as one Fully Redeemed can’t go to Purgatory, as in Christ alone and by HIS Work, has Fully fulfilled HIS Mission and Redeemed You In FULL, HIS Blood cannot do less.
So let’s again take a look at the ARBORIST.
As with our pile of branches, the ARBORIST will need to take action to ingraft any of the Branches HE chooses, as the Branches are Helpless to do anything but rot.
So, even the selecting of the Branches falls as well as our Souls to the FATHER alone, and PLEASE NOTICE, it is by HIS hands alone we are saved.
I know that this Biblical truth goes against the Traditional misleading Religious Righteousness teaching that plagued the Synagogue, Church and yes, the Mosque and all religions of the world that preach self-choice, and self-striving to Obey (Righteousness).
You see each wee in the “Application” part of the Message we are encouraged to see how we can improve our walk with the LORD, even though the first 67% of the Scriptures told us plainly how we totally failed at doing that!!!!
Have you ever wondered why examples of Men who the LORD chose as we truly examined their lives soberly would have, first thanked to LORD for not using us as an example, but also seen All of the Patriarchs are like us, complete screw ups, and have in some cases horrifying warts?
Let’s face it by the Mercy of GOD, most of us have not Raped and knocked up the Wife of a guy so loyal, that Uriah carried His own Death warrant sealed in his hand to Joab.
We, didn’t lie about our wives being our sisters, steal a Birthright, ect. And yet by the Grace of GOD these were chosen for GOD given Righteousness.
This True Biblical narrative does indeed say firmly that the Arminianist view of the Scriptures is the very troubled view that has doomed the World’s religions as exampled in the majority of today’s religious clubs (Yes OPC, PCA PCUSA, UM, Baptist, Jewish, Muslim, Lutheran ect) as you will hear them show the cards in the application point as we noted as you must improve yourself.
I hope over the years you aren’t saying, “Aren’t we supposed to improve in our walk with Christ” as I would have failed, as the true application is “To see how the HOLY SPIRIT has indeed walked us to be More Christ like week to week” as these are the true fruits of redemption.
?
Let’s Remind Ourselves WHO Chooses Whom?
Again, Only the HOLY SPIRIT Alone can By the Will Of the FATHER, Through the Full Purchase and Of Our Dead Souls Regenerate them to Accept Our TRIUNE GOD and the LORD Jesus Christ as Savior!!!!
When we are asked the question, “So Which is it as Do We Have To Accept Jesus Christ Ourselves, Or Does The LORD Open our Eyes and Awaken Our Dead Souls to Accept Jesus Christ??? The Answer is a Firm YES!!! In other Words, Both are true, but the Need for our eyes to be Opened, and Awaken from the Dead the First Reaction to the Irresistible Call, that causes us to say Yes, and Yes of our new Heart Fully!!!!
What actually disappoints me, is the EVERY “Reformed” Presbyterian Pastor (PCA, OPC, EPC) and Yes PCUSA have no Excuse Are to swear to this full understanding?of our path to Salvation and YET, don’t seem to believe what the swear to as their third point of their lessons betray them.
Don’t Believe me, listen for yourself, as they tell you what you must do to correct yourselves.
Reread the passages for yourself.
Joh 6:37 "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.
Joh 10:29 "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
?30 "I and the Father are one."
Joh 18:8 Jesus answered, "I told you that I am He; so if you seek Me, let these go their way,"
?9 to fulfill the word which He spoke, "Of those whom You have given Me I lost not one."
Mt 16:16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
?17 And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
?
We are reminded, As our passages layout the FATHER alone Preordains, and the Work of the TRIUNE GOD is put into place as our redemption takes root in the appointed time.
I hope it is clear, that it is ONLY the FATHER’S Preordained Will that allows we Dead Souls to be regenerated period, and as We see in Jesus’s Vinedresser Parable, the FATHER is NOT Passive in our Salvation, but indeed using Jesus’s own example, the actual initiator and Hands on Grafter of We branches.
After getting up and walking out on a poor treatment of the Vinedresser at a PCA Church in NYC, I told my Wife, as we started to walk home.
“What is sad, is I would give the Congregation (And all of us) an experiment to show the Needed action of the FATHER, and why it is Foundational”.
“The experiment would ask a parishioner and in this case the Pastor, after a storm when a number of branches are freshly laying on the Ground, to take a chair and sit there for two weeks, Day & Night, reporting on the actions of the fallen branches.
The report 100% of the time would reveal that the Branches laid there and were indeed Powerless to hope back into the Tree, Vine, or any other Life-giving member, and doomed to and powerless to do anything more than die.
This really is a great Segway to our next thought.
?
?
How Much Are We Redeemed?
This part is perhaps the mistranslating the Greek word Hope elpiv elpis,?el-pece (from a primary elpo (to anticipate, usually with pleasure); expectation (abstractly or concretely) or confidence:--faith, hope.)
So to understand this as in the 20th, 21st Century “Hope I get this Job”, or “Hope I get this or that for Christmas” that allows hug opportunity for disappointment, our Hope In Jesus Christ is indeed our FULL Assurance and is NOT subject to Disappointment EVER!
We must, By the Mercy of the HOLY SPIRIT’S Revelation come to Understand that Jesus Really can’t purchase part of our Souls or Part of Our Sins, but FULLY Redeems us by the full work of HIMSELF.
As We ponder on this lesson, May The HOLY SPIRIT open our eyes to the Full Assurance in Jesus Christ and allow us to see the Fruit of Such a Redemption period.
As Fruit is proof of the Redeemed. ?
2nd Corinthians ?5:6 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord--
?7 for we walk by faith, not by sight--
?8 we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
?9 Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.
?10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
?
This perhaps is the first time you have heard this, but it really leads us to ask the two questions at the conclusion, but for now, we really know in Christ alone, that to be absent from the Body is to INDEED be present with the LORD.
There is NO holding pen for us to pay for our sins as Jesus Christ did what for us??????
The Bible is crystal clear, there is NO Purgatory, Luke 16:22 "Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham's bosom; and the rich man also died and was buried.
?23 "In Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and *saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom.
?24 "And he cried out and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.'
The Rich Man in Jesus Parable is NOT in a Holding pen, but eternally damned as we all deserve, and the Poor Man Lazarus is immediately in Abraham’s bosom, and blessed.
No paying off sins that somehow Jesus’s blood wasn’t sufficient enough to pay for.
The Blood of Jesus Christ has paid IN FULL for Our Sins and Souls, and when we stand and make our accounting before HIM, HE will be holding up a blank piece of Paper and telling, do you now get it, I paid for all of your Soul and Sins as My Blood and life was full sufficient.
My Friends in Christ, be assured that Christ Has fully rescued you and purchased your sins and soul In FULL.
Please answer the two questions below.
