Our ask to wrap up the incredible year that was 2020:

Dear Chive Charities Supporter: 

What a year it has been! 2020 was nothing like we could have imagined - and yet, while we’ve had to overcome feelings of deep sadness and frustration about what this year has taken from us, here we are, in the last few days of December, reflecting on all that 2020 has given us. 

• 2020 has welcomed 60 new recipients into our Chive Charities family. 
• 2020 has welcomed more monthly donors into our family than ever before. 
• 2020 has allowed us to provide life-changing grants to those who have endured unimaginable suffering and hardship. 
• 2020 has allowed us the opportunity to grant 27 ADA accessible vehicles, 6 service dogs, 11 renovation projects, 54 pieces of medical equipment and 210 impactful experiences with over 1.6M in aid. 

In a year that projected unsurvivable loss for businesses and especially non-profit organizations, our impact has been nothing short of inspiring - and it’s only because of your incredible commitment and loyalty. 

But - there is no guarantee for continued success in 2021. We are still in the depths of a pandemic that has created more uncertainty, more instability, and more loss than any year in recent history. And while we unite as a team to cast a vision for 2021, we find ourselves pulled to one question over and over again: how do we ask for help again?

But this is where we’re at. We’re asking for help. We’re asking for an end of year donation. We’re asking for support for future recipients just like DJ, the Heaton family, and Henry. We know this year has held incredible challenges for so many, including financial ones, but for those that feel moved to give once more in 2020, I humbly ask you to support our mission - our incredible mission that, with your support, will continue to help the most underserved and overlooked causes in 2021. 

Whether it’s $10, $50, $100, $500+ and any amount in-between, we are so grateful for your consideration.
