our actions matter

our actions matter

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”

This picture comes to my mind. It's a photo of one mother taking care of another’s child inside of a clinic in Kenya. It is not an image of hopelessness, it is a picture of a woman empowered to help another person. That single act should inspire us to understand the passion behind MLK and why today more then ever, his words bring meaning to a clear direction we must embrace.

One last message from Martin Luther King, “History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.”

Yes, I do think our actions matter... You have a choice in life... Spend it doing the best you can to help others and to do positive things that result in great achievements or... judge others, criticize, don't move because you don't think it matters, debate, and always find fault in things before you try them. Don't you care to see with your own eyes the outcome of your actions ? Choice is yours...
