Thinking commercially is about taking YOUR business forward. Your team is your business. It’s a shift in thinking that brings greater commercial awareness in how you mange resources, evaluate risk and own decision making.?

We’ll explore how to build your skills in strategic thinking and how YOU make a difference to the ‘bigger picture’. We’ll also challenge you to understand the value that you bring with your skills and expertise & how to challenge continuous improvement with a ‘one team’ approach!

This influence for impact and personal success workshop will build an understanding of the role you play in influencing and engaging others and why that’s of maximum importance to building a?business in today's world.?

You’ll explore the importance of?personal impact and building a strong personal brand, identify 4 recognised styles of influence and identify practical tools to flex and adapt your natural style of influence.?You’ll also build a personal and/or team stakeholder influencing map to enable you to build strong and effective relationships and work out how to sell without selling, influence authentically and make a real difference to personal and team performance.?

The team, project, or workstream that you head up IS your business. Maybe you aspire to be a Director or MD in the future??

In this session, we’ll identify what a strong and commercially focused leader does, and how they do it. You’ll explore strategies to plan, drive and lead the performance of your area of responsibility and build your understanding of the key commercial and strategic factors that lead to success…thinking like a Managing Director!?

We’ll explore how to create a clear, aligned and focused vision for ‘your’ business and lead your people to success in a way that motivates and engages. We’ll also introduce some simple, easy-to-apply performance management techniques to help keep team members on track, support them when they need help to perform at their best and recognise a job well done.
