Our 2023 strategy for Pillow Partners

In the final few months of 2022 we are totally rebuilding the company from the ground up. We are redesigning all the systems and procedures from scratch with the focus of making what we do truly world class.

From our launch in 2016, we have learned a lot.? We have grown quickly, tried new things, made LOTS of mistakes and learned some valuable lessons along the way. ? Throw in a global pandemic and a few other catastrophes and it’s made for a very interesting and challenging first few years.?

But we got through it all to be at the forefront of the industry in the UK, one of the biggest and the best. And that's all down to the amazing people we have in Pillow.? But we are far from perfect. If you follow us on social media, you'll see the awards, the good news and the all the positive stuff. But things go wrong every week, some small, some big.? Short term rentals is a business with a lot of moving parts!

So in the last quarter of 2022, it's time to take a new approach to how we do things. In the last few months of this year, we are rebuilding everything with a view to having everything perfect in 2023.? We will work on the foundations, lay some new ones and ensure we get the basics right.? We can hit 2023 with everything in place to get things right the first time, work in the most efficient manner and build a reputation for excellence.??

THE SIMPLE TRUTH

The simple truth is this: Without hosts & guests - we don't have a business. As a company, and as individuals, we are here to serve them. And in the most efficient, friendliest, helpful and professional way possible.???

The team will be focusing on 23 different areas within Pillow to make improvements.? These areas will all have a detailed plan as we move forward.? We welcome everyone in the Pillow team to be part of this and volunteer to help shape the areas they feel passionate about.??

A NEW APPROACH, A NEW COMPANY

In January 2023, we will be doing things a lot differently than we have before.? We want everyone in Pillow to approach this like joining a brand new company. ? Change is hard.? And change can be scary.? And it’s easy to automatically react and push back against it.?

But to be the best in the world, we need to make some changes!!!

You might notice we will be quiet over the next 2 months. But behind the scenes we will be working hard on the 23 areas.

2023 is going to be a really tough year for a lot of businesses. And most likely our industry. But we will be the most prepared, the most skilled and the most passionate about becoming the best in the industry.
