Our 2023 in a nutshell

Let's take a moment to remember the best moments and the milestones that made 2023 truly special together with partners, long-term relationships and trustful friends.

1. Let's start from the beginning.

The Plant Pioneers newsletter reached 10k subscribers in the EU! The newsletter is a bi-monthly appointment with our readers where you can find news, information, appointments and insight from our company in Leimuiderbrug. We have been together with our subscribers since July 2022, 13 colourful newsletters have been sent to the mailboxes (have a look!) and uncountable moments have been shared. 2. A year of fruitful partnerships with trustful friends

With our work at MNP / Suntory, we love to ?Colour your Story?. That's why, again for the 2023/2024 edition we are into Desch 's amazing creation called exactly like this, Colour Your Story. A colourful, professional and extremely well-finished magazine where Desch products and floriculture varieties are combined to create inspirational plant settings and presentations. Do you know what are we talking about? Have a look with your eyes and tell us your favourite match. We've been so lucky to be in it for several years, that now we are also grateful to be mentioned in the Special Edition for spring summer 2024 with our (plant) brands Sundaville? , Surfinia? and Surdiva? !

Michael Perry aka Mr Plant Geek has been our ambassador during 2023 Senetti? 's and Princettia? 's seasons.

Influencer, content creator, book writer, podcaster... do we have to go on? Everyone in the UK and Europe knows Michael Perry and the amazing job as Mr Plant Geek he has been doing for the last few years.

Michael brings joy to his almost 50k followers on Instagram with his super engaging content, always happy, fresh, hilarious and well-finished. His professionalism moves us to collaborate with him in May to boost awareness among our new Senetti? varieties, which Michael presented to the community creating the unmissable Senetti? TV! Furthermore, Micheal presented Senetti? as the plant which turns over your spring balcony as the perfect ‘in-between’ solution for green lovers, basically the first sparkling and glossy colours you going to see when the winter darkness comes to an end.

And what about the Princettia? collection? Michael's followers got crazy about the autumn poinsettia and he also fell incredibly in love with that, because it is not only a Christmas plant! And surprise surprise, the Princettia? stood very well outdoors in the UK, keeping shining and sparkling even during cold winter days, trust Michael! 3. Sundaville? Double Blush Pink rocked the 2023!

The Sundaville? Double Blush Pink has garnered attention and accolades, thanks to its undeniable WOW factor at the point of sale as the winning FleuroStar Award by Fleuroselect proved last June. This recognition fuels MNP / Suntory's passion to continually strive for excellence in a dynamic world, always with the entire floriculture chain in mind. The winning of the award gained this unique variety of glamorous attention covers from the press and communications. But also the whole Sundaville? brand got some benefits from this winning experience, boosting awareness and demands for the entire collection.

This variety, introduced by MNP / Suntory and Beauty Plants in 2022 has also won the Houseplant award at the Four Oaks Trade Show 2023 during the event hosted by HortWeek. Moreover, it was also the runner-up at the Glazen Tulp Award 2023-2024 powered by Royal FloraHolland in Aalsmeer. What a year!

More exciting things are coming from this plant brand in the coming years, meanwhile, everyone can enjoy the beauty of the double-flowered Mandevilla even at IPM ESSEN at the FleuroSelect booth (Hall 2, Stand 2D27) and MNP / Suntory's ones (Hall 1, Stand 1E47.1).

4. Our 'wall of fame' proudly displays a new achievement

From 1991 to 2023, we successfully sold a staggering 1.5 billion Surfinia? in Europe. This remarkable step reaffirms the enduring appeal of our brand in the market. To celebrate that, we produced an original animated movie!

But that's not all – our dedication to innovation shines through with the introduction of new trailing varieties. This new collection includes amazing XXL flower plants with astonishing and captivating colours you can not miss.
