Real problems, real-time solutions

At the beginning of this year, we partnered with PR Week to?conduct a study?of?hundreds of PR and communications professionals about some of the key aspects of corporate reputation in 2022.

In the survey, we asked about internal versus external factors when it comes to reputation, about the importance of speed to manage crises and capitalize on opportunities, and about whether they see misinformation as an existential threat when it comes to managing a brand’s reputation.

When it comes to monitoring the spread of news across social, as well as identifying those who are driving engagement with content, much improvement is still needed.

We found that only 12% of respondents felt strong about their ability to monitor the news, while more than half report being "satisfactory" or worse.

The top publishers on Facebook in April

The Daily Mail held off competitors to maintain its spot at the top of the?rankings for April 2022, marking the second month in a row the British publisher has been the top publisher on Facebook.

Perhaps the most striking thing is that no other publisher was really that close to the top two, with The Daily Wire having 50% more engagement than its closest rival, and The Daily Mail essentially doubling everyone other than The Wire.?

British publications were again strong performers, with three of the top five, while The Daily Wire was the only American representative in that group. They were joined by Nigerian publisher Legit, who rose one spot in the rankings to take fourth place.?
