The Otter + ChatGPT capture and post ideas method

Tanja T?rnroos had a great method for idea capture -> processing -> posting.

She mentioned the whole process in the latest podcast; I time-stamped it here below in the video link.

The method goes like this. When Tanja gets an idea usually while out on a run (humble brag). And that is not a good place to take up pen and paper or even write with sweaty cold fingers on a the phone.

Instead what she does, is that

• She creates a voice recording on otter.io
• She makes the recording as if she is calling an explaining the idea to a friend
• Otter automatically creates a transcript
• Tanja inputs the transcript into ChatGPT to check for gramatical errors and make it as written text more than speech.
• She makes the final edit herself, reviewing and making sure it looks right.
• Then she is good to go to publish.

This is time efficient, keeps her tone of voice and makes it easy for her to keep the flow of content coming.

I've been playing around with it a bit myself and so far it looks promising.

Because it's easier to talk than it is to write.

So why not just talk more? :)
