OSU Co-Pilot Spotlight | Parker & Journee
Co-Pilot Parker Swanton is the President of Pilot Dogs Club at Ohio State. She is currently working with her third Pilot Pup, Journee. Her first dog was Spice, a Labrador Retriever who is currently in advanced training at Pilot Dogs. Her second dog was , a German Shepherd who is currently exploring career change options.?
When asked why she became a Co-Pilot Parker said:
"I decided to be a Co-Pilot because I have always had an interest in puppy raising but never the opportunity. When I came to Ohio State and realized there was a puppy raising program I was instantly interested. I have always had a love for dog training and the support Pilot Dogs gives Ohio State students makes it an amazing opportunity for those who want to start training young.
The support I receive from Pilot Dogs as an Ohio State Co-Pilot sets them apart from any other organization I've seen, I am truly amazed by what this organization does. These dogs make a lasting impact on the lives of those around them, not just their student, and being a part of that journey is an honor."
