"Ostrich-in-the sand": Episode 2

Despite reasonable expectations that the UK government would take urgent measures to contain the spread of the pandemic similar to those adopted by most countries (preventive closure of schools, public gatherings, restrictions on travel, etc.), the government seems to be inventing a new "revolutionary" approach to fight what seems to be now a full-fledged biological war. So, instead of creating and enforcing sanitation barriers between people and communities to stop the spread of the contagion, the stage two of this "innovative" strategy, advises those that get the symptoms to self-isolate and wait. And expresses in advance condolences to those families who will inevitably and untimely lose their beloved ones. This is something that should definitely enter the WHO textbooks!
