OSIRIS-REx to deliver scientific treasure

In July 2020, the small probe perform a "touch-and-go" maneuver with the asteroid, to collect samples....using its 11-foot-long, pogo-stick arm! NASA science and engineering experts will evaluate samples from the carbon-rich near-Earth asteroid, Bennu. The evaluations will improve how we view the formation of the solar system and the origins of life.
