OrionStar Robotics Achieves Dual Certification in ISO/IEC 27001 for Information Security and ISO/IEC 27701 Privacy Management Standards

OrionStar Robotics (hereinafter OrionStar) was recently awarded the ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System and ISO/IEC 27701 Privacy Information Management System certifications by SGS.

At the certification ceremony, leaders from #OrionStar and SGS China attended, including Han Kun, OrionStar's AI Chief Architect, Su Yongzi, Head of OrionStar Information Security Center, and Xin Bin, Vice President of SGS China.

This dual-standard certification for ISMS and PIMS demonstrates that OrionStar has established a robust Information Security and Privacy Management System in line with international standards, ensuring the protection of the information assets of its partners, consumers, and other stakeholders.

At the certification ceremony, Xin Bin, Vice President of SGS China, emphasized that for a global enterprise like OrionStar Robotics, which specializes in the design, development, and provision of service-oriented solutions for intelligent service robots, information security and privacy protection should be viewed as core competencies and essential reflections of corporate social responsibility. This dual-standard certification represents a new starting point for OrionStar. Through continuous exploration, OrionStar is expected to set the benchmark for information security and privacy protection in the service robot industry.

OrionStar's AI Chief Architect, Han Kun, stated that information security and privacy protection had become critical concerns for partners and consumers as society increasingly #digitalized. To address these concerns, OrionStar has invested significant efforts in these areas. Last year, the company initiated the dual certification of ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System and ISO/IEC 27701 Privacy Information Management System. This certification includes hardware and software design, development, and operation, covering a full range of robots, which demonstrates China's service robots have great potential to serve the world.

In 2021, the company was selected as a member of the "Trusted Facial Recognition Guardian Program" initiated by the Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Institute of CAICT.
