Origin of The Origami AI Platform

InGen Dynamics' AI platform, Origami, is central to our mission. Named after the Japanese art of folding paper into various shapes, Origami is emblematic of our approach to artificial intelligence – adaptable, flexible, and capable of an infinite number of solutions depending on the problem at hand.

Origami's inception began shortly after the company's founding in 2015. Our team of AI specialists recognized that there was no one-size-fits-all solution when it came to the potential applications of robotics and artificial intelligence. Each industry, from healthcare to hospitality, presented its unique challenges, and each solution required a nuanced approach.

With this insight, we began developing the Origami platform, designed to accumulate our ever-growing knowledge base and provide a flexible foundation for our robots. Every success, every failure, and every solution our AI has ever encountered or devised is stored within Origami. This allows it to not only learn from the past but also adapt to future scenarios.

This ongoing learning process empowers our AI robots like Aido and products like Sentinel to be highly efficient in their roles, be it in the retail, healthcare, education, or surveillance sectors. From recognizing faces to understanding spoken language, from navigating complex environments to performing intricate tasks, these products and robots, thanks to the Origami platform, have become more capable and reliable over time.

A pivotal moment for Origami came during the healthcare crisis prompted by the pandemic. The labor shortage in the healthcare industry was severe, with professionals overworked and resources stretched thin. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, we swiftly repurposed Origami's intelligence to equip our robots, particularly Fari, our healthcare robot, to assist in the healthcare sector.?

Today, Origami is a sophisticated AI platform that enables the development of intelligent embodied agents capable of interacting with complex and unstructured real-world environments. It has become the backbone of our AI-driven robots and our phased approach to achieving our vision of a world where technology serves the greater good, enhances lives, and contributes to humanity's betterment. Origami has not only marked an important milestone in our journey but is also a testament to our unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI and robotics.
