Orifarm ELT 2024
In May 2024, the Eventcomms Agency team proudly supported Orifarm for a 2nd time for their annual Extended Leadership Team meetings in Odense, Denmark. This was a 3-day event day meetings, presentations, great locally sourced food, entertainment, and activities.

Purpose
Orifarm’s purpose for this annual summit was to gather top management alignments on ambition, direction, and priorities for the company, as well as establish a stronger connected team.

Getting Prepared
When we arrived at Hotel Odeon, the team started preparing the welcome bags, arranging seating charts, setting up the registration desk, and gathering room keys for each participant from the hotel. Once everything was organised, we opened the registration and waited for the participants to arrive at Hotel Odeon.
One of our favourite things to do at Eventcomms Agency is get the hotel room keys in advance so the attendees can get everything from us at the desk, no queueing, no hassle.
The evening involved a delicious Danish buffet dinner freshly prepared by Hotel Odeon and an open drinks reception for the participants to network and mingle with their colleagues. Then it was early to bed for the team as dreamt about the practicalities for Monday.

Conference Day 1
The day got off to an early start to give enough time for participants to get a nourishing breakfast and freshen up before departing on the bus to our meeting venue, Holckenhavn Castle.
When we arrived at Holckenhavn for both meeting days, the sun was shining on the beautiful grounds surrounding the Castle. The interior decorations added to the feeling of exclusivity in the venue. From staircases lined with candlelit lanterns, to century-old hand-painted ceilings, the castle was truly a fairytale setting.
In the plenary space we created a bespoke “campfire” table set up with four participants at each pod. This allowed for breakout sessions within the room to commence during the meeting. The semi-circle stage centred the room with screens, which allowed a view of the presentations from all angles of the room.

The Great Outdoors – great for the mind, body & soul!
While the participants enjoyed their fresh buffet lunch in the castles historic dining parlour each day, our team set up the workshops and activities in the garden. These included collaboration challenges, and workshops on strategy, narrative, ambitions, flexibility, responsibility, and customer-centricity.
We created each station at different areas of the garden with an easel & flipchart, 2 high tables, markers, and direction sheets.
The green, historic setting full of beautiful cherry blossom trees added a touch of charm to the day, making it a truly unique experience for all participants.

Activities & Dinners
Boat Tour: Participants were greeted at the main Boat slip in Odense after their first-day meeting with glasses of chilled champagne, setting a sophisticated tone for the evening. As colleagues mingled, the smooth jazz from the Odense Jazz Orchestra created a relaxed and festive atmosphere, encouraging conversations and connections.
Onboard, the participants enjoyed a selection of finger foods, freshly prepared by the Orifarm Catering team just before the boat trip – a truly family affair!. They were also offered a choice of wine, beer, and soft drinks. The Odense Jazz band boarded with us, adding background noise to the tranquil journey.
HOS Restaurant: HOS is a culinary gem that is a favourite among locals. Nestled in the heart of this charming city of Odense, HOS offers an exceptional dining experience that seamlessly blends contemporary cuisine with traditional Danish hospitality. It boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, described by its stylish, modern interior. The decor features a balanced mix of sleek Scandinavian design elements and warm touches, creating an environment that is both elegant and comfortable for the group.
The service at HOS Restaurant is impeccable, with a team of attentive and friendly staff dedicated to ensuring every guest has a memorable dining experience. From the moment the participants arrived until they left, they were treated with genuine warmth and hospitality, making the visit truly special.
Brandts Museum: The closing dinner was themed ‘A Night at the Museum,’ and was held at the Brandts Museum in Odense. The evening was a perfect blend of culture, entertainment, and fine dining.
The night began with a drinks and canapé reception on the museum’s first floor. Participants were greeted with superb canapés and a selection of fine wines and cocktails. The Odense Jazz Orchestra joined us again to add some soulful melodies to the last evening of the event.
After the reception, the saxophone player serenaded and guided the participants to the second floor. They were invited to explore the gallery exhibition ‘Love, Lust & Freedom’. The museum’s stunning collection of contemporary and classic artworks provided a cultural feast for the eyes, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the rich artistic heritage of the museum.
As the reception continued, we enlisted talented comedian Joe Eagan to fill the room with laughter and light-heartedness. The witty humour and engaging performance created a lively atmosphere, breaking the ice and bringing everyone together before heading into the main room for dinner and the company awards.
The evening concluded with a company awards ceremony, celebrating the achievements and contributions of Orifarm’s leaders. The ceremony recognised Leadership, Collaboration, and ‘K?bmandskab’. The heartfelt speeches and joyous applause highlighted the spirit of the corporate family. The celebrations continued back at Hotel Odeon for a final drink’s reception before bed.
