Orienting Community

Orienting Community

Do you have what you need?

Do you even know what you need, actually? Do you need wealth? Or just need dependable sources of income? Or is it both since wealth is one way to create income? But it's not the only way. There's multiple ways to get to where you need to be.

What do we need? What do we want? And how does evolving technology, especially everything happening with AI going to impact getting those things? How much more important is real, genuine community than ever before?

Did Sam Altman just invent...events and bringing people together?

As word salady as his comments sounds there is an important insight that needs discussing - the value of community, getting together, having real relationships with real people, is going to be such an advantage to those individuals and businesses that keep a genuine emphasis on building, bridging, helping, supporting...just being human and real will put us in a blue ocean.

We do have risks though -

Be careful of the bubble you find yourself in. Community is so valuable but if everyone in your community thinks and acts and feels the same ways about everything, you don't have a vibrant community; you might just be in a cult, insular and backwards-looking.

Who you surround yourself with, how you spend time and energy is such a reflection of the person that you are, who you want to become, and who you will be. This audio I'm hosting with some excellent community builders - Tori. Hanson , Moshe Neuman , Spencer Chandlee , Jessica Sophia Wong and Nicole Casperson will be a terrific way to spend some time with giving, caring people

that are creating so much value for the communities they are building. It's really impossible to quantify or put into words.

With New York Tech Week around the corner, it's crucial to think about community. When we go to events, we don't just show up at the event; we show up to contribute to, and add value to a community we care about.Join us for an incredible and interactive panel discussion on the importance of vibrant communities in the entrepreneurial world. The guests will all tell their stories and break down the strategies and benefits of community building.

Some of what we'll discuss:

- How to mix online and offline worlds and events?

- How can entrepreneurs leverage community to foster innovation and collaboration?

- What are the essential ingredients for creating a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem?

- What challenges do community builders face, and how can they be overcome?

- What are the long-term benefits of investing in community building efforts?

Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights and actionable strategies for cultivating vibrant community. See you on Friday, May 24th at 11:30 EST.

It's not just an event it's a community! Looking forward!
