Organizational behavior is a field of study that examines the impact which individuals, groups and structure have within an organizations. ?It is an important to have an understanding of how individuals behave and to ensure that how organizations would benefit from the individuals involved within.?The principles of the study of organizational behavior make businesses operate more successfully. The study of ob. includes researching about areas related to improving job satisfaction and performance, promoting innovation and promoting leadership.
Nowadays organizational behavior has become of greater importance and understanding the behavior within the organization leads to success and innovation. Organizational behavior has been setup to fulfill the needs to the employees. All organizations are growth centered and they focus on the aspects which lead to maximum productivity. As OB is considered as one of the main reason for the company’s success, improving quality and productivity it is becoming of greater relevance in today’s time. organizational behavior analyzes the impact of social and environmental factors that affect the way employees or teams work. The way people work together, communicate, and collaborate is essential part to an organization’s success. By analyzing and understanding the way people interact and collaborate with each other, you can leverage organizational behavior to increase the?effectiveness and efficiency of your workforce. It can also help you accomplish the organizational and work culture goals. It also helps the organization in reaching the goals like comfortable work environment and build a winning people strategy. Moreover, OB helps in creating a positive environment throughout the organization.
Challenges:
There are also a few challenges associated with organizational behavior. The primary reason organizations employ diverse category of employees is to utilize the employees’ talents and potentials. In general, employees want to maintain their individual and cultural identity, values and lifestyles even though they are working in the same organization with common rules and regulations. The major challenge for organizations is to become more accommodating to diverse groups of people by addressing their different lifestyles, family needs, and work styles which is time consuming.
Managers need to develop behavioral skill and need to create the effective team in the organization by providing training. Sometimes employees don’t want to learn the lesson. In that case, managers face some problems, and this is the challenge for the managers.

?In recent times, product life cycles are reducing, operating methods are improving, and changing very rapidly. Previously managers had to undertake a change after a decade, whereas, today, change is an ongoing regular activity for most managers. The concept of continuous improvement refers to continuous change. In the old years, there was a wide period of stability than instability and sometimes disrupted by a short period of change, but at present, the change process is an ongoing activity due to competition in creating new products and services with innovation. Everyone in the organization today is facing permanent impermanence. Hence, workers need to continually update their knowledge and skills to meet the needs of the new job.
Managers are an important part of an organization; they play a vital role in creating an ethical organization. Managers are a role model for their subordinates and help them guiding through different aspects of their job.?Employees look to the behavior of top management as a model of what’s acceptable behavior in the workplace and they can also setup different training programs in the organizations to clarify what is permissible and non-permissible according to the code of conduct.
