December month comes with a dramatic change in the weather pattern, pleasing and cool. It's time to review the year that passed, celebrating our successes as well as failures, a celebration of the new year with the hope of achieving new goals and working for a better tomorrow!

From the Director's Desk:

The month had begun with an important national event, where on Dec 2 National Pollution Control Day is observed in our country to raise awareness about the different measures to control pollution and the prevention of industrial disasters. This day also reminded us of those who lost their lives in the Bhopal Gas tragedy on 2nd December 1984 and brought awareness about the fatalities caused due to polluted water, land, and air.

This is a month where we also celebrate National Farmers' Day on 23 Dec to honour and acknowledge the contribution of farmers in our lives. Coincidently, World Soil Day is celebrated on December 5th, aiming to raise awareness of the importance of soil health and the relationship between soil and water in achieving sustainable and resilient agriculture.

We celebrate these events through our constant efforts and commitment to a sustainable environment.... enriching life and human livelihood. We constantly invent and innovate products and processes that help industries, farmers and society thus contributing significantly towards environmental sustainability. In this issue, We present our success stories and social impact created in the fields of agriculture, aquaculture, wastewater treatment, sanitation and hygiene domain.

We wish our readers a Happy New Year 2024 with the commitment to add value to the lives of the people and achieve our goal of environmental sustainability in the years to come.
