In FERNANDO DE MATOS REBOLLEDO, et al., vs. CAMBERO CORDERO, 42 FLW D683a (Fla. 3rd DCA) in case nos. 3D16-786 & 3D15-2409 in a consolidated appeal- opinion filed on March 22, 2017 Order awarding Wife temporary support and retroactive support and separate order finding Husband in contempt for failing to pay same quashed as void finding the Court has no jurisdiction where the only motion pending when Husband filed his dismissal was Wife’s motion to lift the default, which became moot when Husband filed his voluntary dismissal. It is well settled that parties cannot confer jurisdiction where none exists.
