Google “orange tile” and you are presented with a moderate number of options starting as low as $.25 per tile often with the word “retro” next to it - a reference to the 70’s when this color choice was blazin. In 2017 only 63 orange tiles sold $20,000,000, which when doing the math is $317,460.31 per orange tile - an ace price. 

And there was nothing retro about it.

The event ended in bogus fashion with the organizer behind bars and triggered a big debate about the merit of influencer marketing.

Many say the logistics and organization did not match the influencer marketing success and I’d agree. Still, that the influencers spread the message and the festival sold out in quick time was off the hook. Great execution and result. No diggity, no doubt.
