The Orange Plague

The Orange Plague

“There are two kinds of pride, both good and bad. 'Good pride' represents our dignity and self-respect. 'Bad pride' is the deadly sin of superiority that reeks of conceit and arrogance.” - John C. Maxwell

The Orange Plague is infecting our country, and its carrier is Elon Musk, head of DOGE (Department of Gutting Everything). Historically, Musk's strategy is like Sherman's March to the Sea, destroying anything and anyone not in the "Red Cap" camp. This hubris rooted campaign, if not stopped, will lead to a further deterioration of our democracy and a devastating impact on the lives and well-being of millions of good, decent, humble, hard-working Americans. If there's any chance of healing our divided country, we must muster the moral courage to fight this Anti-American assault on our freedoms by standing up to this Billionaire Bully. We've been warned before...

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." - Martin Luther King Jr.

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent." - Edmund Burke

"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed it ourselves." - Abraham Lincoln

It's a simple choice: Having the moral courage to stand against Musk's outrageous arrogance that's damaging the soul of our Nation or sitting on the sideline and doing nothing.

In writing this piece, my choice is obvious.
