The Passing of an Orange Blossom - how a World Class city called Miami birthed! Ms. Julia Tuttle, wise ole woman ruled the north. The Brickell's governed the south. It was 1892, it was COLD! So cold, the state of FL's orange trees and their blossoms were frozen. Miami had warmth and blossoms bloomed, meaning oranges. So, Julia sends a courrier, not a text, with an orange bloosom branch to Mr. Henry Flagler, Railroad king.
