April the 27th was a sunny day in Amsterdam. I came to the city to celebrate my 60th birthday with the Ducah people who celebrate their King’s Day.
I painted my nail in Orange. Put on? my Hawaiian Orange flowers and wandered around the Artis park.
The Groote museum is a gem in the park. It was opened in 1855 as a Natural History museum and re-open a year ago with an amazing exhibition about the connection and similarities between humans and nature.
The exhibition is divided into topics: Emotion, the body senses ect.
The social behavior was my favorite. There were heavy fur coats. IVisitors were asked to wear the coat and experience the deep feeling of HUG. When i wore the heavy coat? was surprised how nice and comfy i felt. The activity illustrated the importance of hugs and social activities that are importance to are wellbeing.
When we strolled down the Amstel we experienced the happiest day in the country. Boats filled with youngs and olds people run along the Amstel river. People danced everywhere.
The Orange Hug that we experienced in King’s day will stay with me for long time.
