Orange Jordan's Coding Academies emerged originally as an extended story with an opening line that was created by the team who shares the same goal; letting the story continue!
The Opening Line: Why?
For a story to resonate, it must be relevant. In 2019, Jordan faced a high unemployment rate, while programming and technology-related skills became crucial for accessing the job market
At that pivotal moment, the Coding Academy from Orange Jordan, the first of its kind in the Middle East, launched its mission; to write the first line of the new story we are narrating! A story disguised as an article!

Coding Academy was founded by Orange Jordan in 2019 in collaboration with Simplon.Co, and accreditation by Princess Sumaya University for Technology and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It adopts a business model giving youth a chance through the “Training for Employment” program.
Testifying to such an important mission, the Academy allows students to enjoy a wide variety of professional options when it comes to their career paths. Options can include getting access to the labor market or launching their entrepreneurial projects, in line with Orange's social responsibility, which is based on 4 pillars, including digital education, digital inclusion, entrepreneurship, climate, and environment.

The Plot & Characters: Trainers’ Passion Equals Participants’ Success
The trainers of the Coding Academies, which are located in 5 Jordanian governorates namely Amman, Irbid, Zarqa, Balqa, and Aqaba, operate like a well-coded program. They inspire change by addressing challenges, identifying relationships, and designing strategies. They translate these strategies into success and work in synergy with students to enhance skills and ensure sustainable outcomes.

The graduates’ milestones represent the spark of inspiration to generate more positive change, they realize the challenges and the problems, identify the relationships between these challenges to design the strategy and programs, they translate them to the language of success, and then work in complete synergy with the students to enhance their skills and ensure sustainable outputs.
Our protagonists consisting of a big operation team that had the privilege of contributing to the transformation of around 700 participants' lives. As proof of such a life-chaunging impact, 80% of participants joined the labor market armed with programming languages skills. The training also included soft skills to maximize their success rate
Not the End!
These milestones are not just happy endings but the beginning of an ongoing journey. Orange Jordan is expanding, through partnerships, its geographical reach to include as many young people as possible with a focus on including more females.
The goal is to unleash their full potential, creating more graduates who can share the stories of their local communities being the new heroes of change.
