World Oral Health Day is only a week away. What are you doing to inform, educate and communicate your value proposition in the maintenance of good health? GSK Ltd have partnered with a few Kenyan clinics to mount free dental examinations and dispense toothpaste and toothbrushes to willing patients. That is a commendable token gesture but it behooves every dentist to do something extra to communicate the importance of oral health in general health.

The patients you have served and will serve, deserve the best care from the first stage of toothless to the last stage stage of toothless., from no dentition, to failing dentition to edentulousness. As a dentist or auxiliary you are right in the centre of that treatment mix. Recommit your position in the management of dental health. Have fun. Let us do this.
