Oral health 2023 status by state from greatest and worst
According to a study on the states with the #best and #worst #oral #health for #2023, the top three states are all located in the nation's north central region, while the bottom states are dispersed throughout the country.
The 50 states and the District of Columbia were compared across 26 key indicators or metrics of dental wellness, including the number of teens and adults who went to the dentist in the past year, dentists per capita, and the percentage of adult smokers, to determine the states with the best and worst dental health in 2023. #wisconsin came in first place this year, followed by Illinois (2), Minnesota (4), and Connecticut (5), making up the top 4 states (the District of Columbia was ranked third). The remaining states are North Dakota (number 6), Michigan (number 7), Idaho (number 8), Massachusetts (number 9), and Ohio (10).
Mississippi came in last place in the standings (51, accounting for the District of Columbia). Florida (42), California (43), Alabama (44), Alaska (45), Louisiana (46), Texas (47), Montana (48), West Virginia (49), and Arkansas are the other states with the lowest rankings (50).
