Oradea promotes tourism and investment opportunities in Warsaw

On September 5th, the Visit Oradea team conducted a strategic visit to Warsaw, Poland, to promote Oradea’s tourism and investment prospects. The initiative was organized in partnership with Oradea International Airport and supported by the Embassy of Romania in Poland.

The day commenced with a pivotal meeting focused on establishing partnerships with Polish tour operators, coinciding with the recent introduction of LOT Polish Airlines flights at Oradea International Airport. LOT Polish Airlines now operates four weekly flights between Oradea and Warsaw, available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

The meeting was inaugurated by Alexandru Chira , Executive Director of Visit Oradea, alongside His Excellency Cosmin Onisii , Romanian Ambassador to Poland. They presented Oradea as a premier tourist destination, highlighting significant infrastructure developments over the past decade. The session also included a networking opportunity with over 40 Polish travel agencies and representatives from leading hotels in Oradea and B?ile Felix, such as DoubleTree by Hilton, Ramada, S.C. Turism Felix, and Hotel President.

Later that evening, a reception was hosted at the Embassy of Romania in Poland, in collaboration with the Polish-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PRBCC). The event featured H.E. Ambassador Cosmin Onisii, PRBCC Executive Director Adam Sobieszkoda , and key representatives from Oradea International Airport, Visit Oradea, and the regional tourism sector. They showcased Oradea’s investment and business opportunities to Polish investors, entrepreneurs, and media.
