Oracle Database Service Now available in Azure

We are getting big news coming from Oracle and Microsoft which will most likely impact most enterprise customers.

Oracle database cloud services (pay as you go & annual commit) is now available in Microsoft Azure. It will provide Oracle customers with more options as they transition to public cloud.

Customers will need to review all available options, to understand which is right cloud consumption model for Oracle in public cloud (OCI or Azure)

• Bring Your Own License to Azure.
• Pay as you go to Azure
• Universal Cloud Credit - Annual Commit to Azure.
• OCI @ Compute Cloud
• OCI @ Dedicated region
• OCI @ Public Cloud PAYG
• OCI @ Public Cloud Annual Commit

Review all options based on your specific contracts to understand which is the right approach for your company. Most likely it will be a mix of the above.
