Oracle Database Engineer WANTED!

Responsibilities:

·??????Exposure in Oracle installation, clustering, creating & supporting databases, users, profiles and granting privileges, Backup/Restore etc.

·??????Perform database installations, configurations, upgrades, and migrations.

·??????Responsible for regular backups and recovery of databases.

·??????Responsible for regular maintenance on Postgres databases.

·??????Responsible for pro-active remediation of database operational problems.

·??????Audit for data integrity and consistency across Postgres database systems.

·??????Proactively monitor and tune for performance.

·??????Participate in the creation of development, staging, and production database instances and the migration from one environment to another.

·??????Ensure that database management policies, processes and procedures are followed.

·??????Analyze and Troubleshoot the Oracle/Postgres DB Performance Issues.

Requirements:

·??????Minimum of 2 years of experience with Oracle Database;

·??????Oracle is a must

·??????Casandra, My SQL, Postgres and everything listed would be considered as a plus:

·??????Knowledge in Administration of Oracle 10g,11g,12c and 19c versions.

·??????Knowledge in Administration of Postgres 10,11,12 and 13/14 versions.

·??????Knowledge in Installation, Backup, and Restoration of Oracle/Postgres Databases.

·??????Knowledge in Project Planning, Database design and implementation.

·??????Knowledge in Configuration, Monitoring and Maintenance of Oracle/Postgres Databases.

·??????Skilled in managing 24*7 Oracle Database Administration encompassing database planning, installation & configuration single Instance, disaster recovery planning, back-up & recovery (using RMAN & export/import).

·??????Expertise in managing & troubleshooting Single Instance, Database Performance Tuning, Data Guard/Active Data Guard, RMAN and Streams.

·??????Skilled in monitoring administration of all database objects including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages & procedures, and assessment of impact of changes made to database objects

·??????Skill in OID, database restoration and recovery to various level, database/schema refreshes, database/datafiles movement, database switchover/failover

·??????Exposure in Oracle installation, clustering, creating & supporting databases, users, profiles and granting privileges, Backup/Restore etc.

·??????Having Knowledge on PostgreSQL High Availability, Replication and Enterprise failover manager.
