Optimize your Employee’s LinkedIn profiles to capture increased business

If you are a business owner or a CEO of a company, leveraging LinkedIn for your business, this article will be a goldmine for you.

2023 is just around the corner; you have so much to plan and a lot of work for the New Year. Like every successful business owner or CEO, business or company growth must be your first priority. This 3-minute read will give you new ideas and practical suggestions to expand your business exponentially.

Read on.

The virtual presence of you and your Brand or company is as necessary as oxygen for life. Your Network is in fact your Net-worth. If you are nowhere on social media like LinkedIn, your business might not thrive as much as it could or should in 2023.

Why LinkedIn

There is no need to emphasize the truth that LinkedIn has become the number one social media platform for professionals, with 850+ million users in more than 200 countries worldwide. Fifty-seven million companies and organizations use LinkedIn daily to advertise their business or share news.

You must have heard the proverb, "United we stand, divided we fall." Employees working under you or for your company are your network. You just need to unite them. They will stand for your cause and collaborate with you to expand your business.

Ask yourself; Do all of your employees have LinkedIn profiles?

If yes, then you are 50% into the game. Some of your employees will be very active, with thousands of followers, and some will be confused about how to use and expand their LinkedIn profile and online presence.

If no, read till the end. It would be best if you had some practical suggestions.?

Ask yourself again; Do your employees represent your Brand or company via their LinkedIn presence?

If it's a yes again, Congratulations, you are 80% in the game. But still not 100%. You have to go through some hustle to get that last 20% of victory. But worry not. Here we come into play to help you get that 100% from your Employees' LinkedIn profiles and grow your business.?

If not, don't worry. You can always ask your staff to optimize their own LinkedIn profiles. The only issue with this is most people have no idea how to position themselves on LinkedIn or what to share or how to share it. At AltoAdvance we can provide our LinkedIn online course to your employees so they can learn what to share and how to share it.

But wait, if you are someone who

?????Is afraid of losing employees and think that another better opportunity via LinkedIn will lure your employees away from your company

?????Considers that LinkedIn is just like Facebook and will affect your employee's productivity

?????Worried that your employees will share confidential or unprofessional data on LinkedIn

Then, my dear reader, you are not getting the most out of your employee's LinkedIn presence.

Let's tackle such insecurities

·????????No one can lure your employees if you give them value, respect, and opportunities to grow.

·????????LinkedIn is not Facebook. There are gazillions of valuable information which can expand your employee's knowledge and expertise. Thousands of professionals on LinkedIn provide free knowledge, tips, and help you to grow your business.

·????????You can train your employees to share valuable data. You can instruct your employees on what to share and what to avoid.

Your prospects, clients, and customers are always searching for something or someone on LinkedIn. Your job is to maximize your brand awareness by increasing its reach.

Ask yourself for the last time; Does your company or business have a LinkedIn page and or group?

No? Make one—no other option.

Yes? Great, you are all set.

It's time to encourage your employees to represent your Brand or company actively.

You can and or have them

ü?Share your vision and goals

ü?Communicate effectively. Give and ask for suggestions

ü?Give positive feedback and praise your staff for their efforts

ü?Ask them to consult LinkedIn Coaches and experts to optimize LinkedIn profile for better use

They are now your perfect team to work for your Brand.

Art of attraction and Amplification

Suppose you have 20 employees. Each employee has 1000 followers and 1st-degree connections.

In this way, you have 20k people connected directly to your employees, which means you can grow your company's page or group up to 20k new followers and subscribers without any extra hustle. Amplify your company’s page and attract a larger audience.

Share your brand message via Employee profiles

Your employees can mention your message and brand name in the Profile Banner and Headline. You can train them to share your marketing content consistently in their posts. Please encourage them to engage with people through commenting and reaching prospects via DM’s.

Increase your brand awareness through the Employee's Network

Your employees are your brand ambassadors. If they have positive experiences and reviews about your Brand, encourage them to shout out on their profiles. Share their experiences directly through your company's LinkedIn page. It will build authority and awareness in the market.

Jobseekers are visiting company business pages on LinkedIn and Twitter while connecting with others at your company to 1) find out about job openings, 2) ask if it’s a company they would encourage jobseekers to apply to, and 3) ask about company culture.

Time to Leverage the LinkedIn Profiles of your Employees in order to…

·????????Increase Brand Awareness – The more your employees share the more exposure your services and products will receive.

?

·????????Increase Brand Value – Engaged employees love their jobs and refer people to your organization: This will drive culture and increase vendor and customer/client satisfaction.

?

·????????Showcase their Talents – Customers and clients want to partner with organizations that have happy engaged employees.

?

·????????Increase Loyalty by creating Brand Ambassadors – Want to increase the average tenure of your average employee? Your employee’s want a place where they can 1) see potential growth, 2) want a company that truly cares about its workforce, 3) cares about causes that are important to them, 4) feels that what they do matters.?

David Alto I've worked with many companies to do this and they are blown away when they realise it's impact. It's perceived as 'employees wasting time on social media' or 'leveraging their profile to leave' but in reality it is your employees amplifying your brand and message. Where it often goes wrong is when companies pre-script and tell people what to post. I understand it from a marketing and safety point of view BUT... it comes across as propaganda and impersonal. When employees engage with the platform share their ideas and promote the company - everybody benefits.
