Optimization Best Practice: Data Segment Masterclass

I'm hosting a FREE masterclass tomorrow Friday September 23rd at 12:30 PM EST here on LinkedIN. This is a great opportunity to review best practices when deciding which data segments to keep in your targeting or which to remove during your optimization.

In this masterclass, we are going to optimize a data segment report and review what to look at when making decisions to include or exclude data providers from your targeting.

Here's a few tips in the meantime:

  • Pre-schedule last 30 days report down to an adgroup or line item. If you are running multiple adgroups with uniuq data segemetns, you want to optimize each separately
  • Make sure you have a clear goal in mind: What are your KPIs? This is going to be super crucial when making decisions such as removing or bidding down on data segments.
  • Have a good note taking system: document any changes made and any trends to monitor.
  • Being comfortable with Excel especially excel formulas are going to be a plus for you!
  • Time blocking when you are optimising, the less interruption, the less human error.
