Britain’s Bright Future

On Thursday 24 May, Opinium and Demos are launching the Optimism Project. A national conversation on what’s best about Britain, what our assets and opportunities are, and where we can succeed. 

Join us at this high level, participatory event, launching the first wave of research in our Optimism Project – made possible through an exciting collaboration with Demos. We’ll be revealing the roots of optimism in Britain today and renewing hope for national reconciliation to bring to an end the age of outrage. This event will bring together politicians, citizens and music to begin this national debate.

Our country is made of 60 million people who all have the capacity to solve problems. The Optimism Project is about hearing from them: and we’ll build a manifesto for a better Britain from their ideas.

  • What do you love most about Britain? About your community?
  • What are the opportunities for Britain in the next twenty years?
  • How can we bring people together to find our common interests?
  • What would it take to make you proud of our place in the world?
