AI TasteAssist - optimal cooking settings, automatically, for perfect results

80% of consumers search online for recipes, but many are often unsure how to use their kitchen appliance effectively. Ensure you're offering the latest in assisted cooking technology in your next kitchen design, by including a product from our new AEG Kitchen Range featuring our cutting-edge AI TasteAssist function.

??By simply sending the recipe to the oven through the AEG app, the feature analyses it to understand a number of key facets, including timing, temperature and protein type. AI TasteAssist then automatically selects the optimal cooking settings, to ensure perfect results.

It will even suggest programmes not previously tried, in order to ensure the tastiest and most nutritious results possible.

AEG’s new Kitchen Range also goes further than any previous in saving resources without compromising on performance.

Shifting the user mindset from “an” appliance to “my” appliance

"User-centricity has been a focus in the design world for many years, but I believe it’s time for us to evolve beyond this," says Electrolux Group's VP Digital Design, Simon Bradford.

"Increasingly, I see a need to shift from user-centricity to deep personalisation, aiming to create a genuine emotional connection between people and their products."

In his interview, Simon also discusses the changing mindset of designers, shifts in priorities when designing user interfaces, the latest design trends he sees on the market, and his favourite connected product.

SKY Towers, Belgium - Vastgoed Degroote & AEG

Comprising apartments, offices, shops, cafés and restaurants, SKY District is an ambitious urban renewal project in Ostend, Belgium. At its heart, SKY Tower is a future-proof building by Vastgoedgroep Degroote that deploys the latest innovative technologies to meet the environmental requirements of today and tomorrow.

From the re-use of rainwater to green roofs on the canopies, its development goes beyond just using renewable materials, and its 484 apartments come with AEG appliances in each kitchen - including ovens, induction hobs, refrigerators and dishwashers.

PerfectFit - best-in-class hob installation

Made to fit any kitchen, our Electrolux PerfectFit hobs allow for quick, easy and accurate installations, reducing the number of steps required to make them up to three times faster to fit compared to the equivalent products from our competitors - a real advantage for both our trade customers and professional installers.

Part of our best-in-class installation offering, PerfectFit hobs do not require front or rear ventilation, thus making them ideal for worktops as thin as 12mm, while a pre-installed cable also helps to simplify installation.

The hobs are self-centering via spring fixation and fit seamlessly into the worktop, thanks to Optifix sealant and pre-attached fixing springs.
