The Garderos Router Software (GRS) is the centrepiece of our routers and is based entirely on Linux. It is installed on all routers supplied by Garderos and offers the samestandardised management interface for all Garderos router families. With support for common standard protocols such as SNMP, RADIUS and SSH, GRS enables seamless integration and management of your network resources. It also offers a standard HTTPS interface for updating router configuration and firmware.

Focus on flexibility and adaptability

At Garderos, we understand that every customer has unique network infrastructure requirements. That's why we have developed a highly flexible architecture based on our router operating system (GRS) and our configuration server (GCS). This ensures that your network installation is customised to your specific needs.

One particular highlight is the option of a zero-touch installation: we install a pre-configured, customised configuration on the router during production. This means that your technicians do not need any specialised GRS knowledge, and the installation is carried out automatically. Alternatively, you can save a minimum basic configuration on the router and obtain all other necessary parameters from GCS - a method that is not only flexible but also fault-tolerant, provided the server is highly available.

Centralised management for maximum efficiency

With our Garderos Configuration Server (GCS), you can manage thousands of routers centrally and effortlessly. The GCS generates individual configuration files for each router from templates and an integrated database, saving you valuable time and resources. Thanks to certificate-based encryption, we guarantee maximum security for your network data.

Virtual RTU: The next step in edge computing
