6 ways to become RELEVANT to Amazon consumers
In the blink of an eye, we all do it.
We judge.?
In his book Blink, Malcolm Gladwell showed us that we make quick judgements in about 13 seconds or less.??
Our brains have been trained to unconsciously size up a situation in super quick time.??
This is true in real life – making fast decisions about people we meet – and it’s equally true when we’re shopping online or on Amazon.?
How can you change the way consumers view your products on Amazon and get them to buy more? Spoiler alert: it's not about "optimisation" of your listings any more.

Shopify vs Amazon??
This month I tuned into The Financial Times "Unhedged" Podcast which provides an interesting discussion on Amazon's focus on the customer and the gap it has left for Shopify to fill as the champion for the seller.?Listen HERE

"Embrace the process of pruning in your business and watch it thrive!"?
(Dr Heloise Finch, Founder, Sell Beyond)
This month's Meet the Team is with me!?
After getting out into the garden over the Easter break, I reflected that running a business is like pruning an apple tree:??? Sometimes you need a medium-term view and thoughtful decisions. Other times you need a sharp pair of loppers and a firm hand! ?????? ?? Remove crossing shoots that are rubbing together. Keep the better placed, outward-facing one, unless it’s badly damaged
?? We've all experienced a toxic office environment. ?? Prune out the branches which grow backwards to the centre and won't help the tree thrive
?? People harking back to when business was different and resisting a new approach. ?? Get rid of the spindly watershoots that grow like crazy but won't bear fruit
?? Who hasn't had mad enthusiasm for something that was just a fad... metaverse, anyone?
Perhaps this might sound familiar to you, as a business owner. Making tough decisions and cutting back on certain aspects of your company - or your cultivar - can lead to growth and success.
It's all about trimming away what's not working to make room for new opportunities to flourish. Embrace the process of pruning in your business and watch it thrive!
And please don't look too carefully at my pruning job - hopefully didn't kill the tree this time ??
