An OLT (Optical Line Terminal) is a device used in passive optical networks (PONs) to connect the network to the service provider's point of presence (POP). It is typically used to provide fiber-optic internet and other telecommunications services to businesses and residential customers. Cisco offers a range of OLT products that support different types of PON technologies, such as GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) and EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network).
