Ops ! Overwhelming Perspectives from School...
Before you get yourself engrossed in the post ahead, I would like to warn you of the upcoming whirlpool of "quotes" and "ideas".
Sometime back, Quote 1 caught my attention :
“ Reading and Writing are skills which cannot be delinked from learning. Both goes together.”
And as a catalytic effect it was not long before that I read Quote 2, which made Quote 1 sound much more plausible.
“ The ability to express an idea is nearly as important as the idea itself.”
I will accredit the aforementioned two quotes for conceiving an "idea" in my brain. An idea, which I readily worked upon and an idea of summarising ideas from the people who are pioneer in "our" agricultural community.
This year, I decided to go back to school and learn more relevant particulars to be a more informed part of the community. There is so much knowledge around, and it seems apt to keep a track of the inundating knowledge that I am securing at the Institute of development studies.
It's been just few weeks that I started my Masters, and already plethora of books/articles/lectures/speeches/workshops have been instrumental in influencing and impacting my conscious. I am certain this process will only become intense as I reach closer to the convocation day.
Quoting one last time :
Knowledge is a kind of wealth which increases as you give it away
And hence, I plan to give away whatever I receive during my time here in the UK. Hope people reading these threads would reflect on them and would pass me batons of their knowledge along with receiving some insights from my words here.
Keeping it short :
I aspire to concise information and make it available to everyone whenever I stumble upon any "OPS !" moment [ Overwhelming Prospectives from School]..
I will start with Utsah Pattnaik’s “Agrarian question in the neoliberal era.”
If you have any recommendations, feel free to drop the advice or a mere "Hi !"
See you on the flip side.
