Opportunities Rewards Risk Takers!

Opportunities Rewards Risk Takers!

In my recent times of reflection, I was thinking about how I have come to understand that for one to be blessed with opportunities one must be willing to take a risk, for truly opportunities are there for our undertaking, but most of us are waiting for the opportunities to come to us and that’s not how it works.

Those around me have been fine examples of how when one door closes many more opened which are even more fruitful. Some of those doors that were closed were due to the individual choosing to close that chapter and because of making that decision their world thus created other stepping stones that had what they had visualized for their future plans. I found that to be so amazing because it was like taking a step to walk on a river not knowing whether there is a rock to stand on ensuring you do not sink but trusting you wont and even if you do life will help you figure it out. These individuals remained focused on the next chapter and said goodbye to what had been perhaps a suitable choice in life, but as soon as they let go and applied themselves to what they committed to doing next, they all of a sudden unleashed a prosperous season. For some it wasn't overnight but them being determined to keep going led them to receive great rewards.

Sometimes we never want to take that risk and some occasions the choice to take it is almost forced upon us for you find yourself in a do or die situation and do us required hoping for the best. And I believe on these occasions it is necessary for you to walk into the unknown because only then will you know ones strengths and weaknesses, and most times when you go into the unknown you most definitely always find that this was the future you’d been planning to walk into your whole life. Through the unknown you tend to meet unforgettable people who help shape and mould you into being a character that can take risks and you also get to identify God sent opportunities.

Life is an uncertain journey for you will never know what fate holds for you but I like to believe that one should make life a journey to seek to find what one fate truly is, to find your opportunity take that risk for only then will God know your serious and thus truly bless you surpassing your own understanding and belief.

It's like you're reading my mind, as always. Fear attempts to stop us from taking that first step. The way you explained it encourages me. Thanks for sharing!

This perfectly describes my current situation. After graduating from college, I landed a well-paying job and never imagined that I would have to start looking for a new job seven years later due to a hostile work environment where I had not experienced any professional growth. I have started studying for certification and revising my portfolio on Git. As this chapter closes, I have never been as hopeful as I am today that I am about to open the door to an even better job. This article really brightened my morning.
