Opportunities are Rarely Offered; They’re Seized

Regardless of the track you’re on, may it be the wrong one or the right; you’ll get hit if you just sit there.  The idea that you’ll get hit by opportunity and greatness, however, is near enough impossible. If you sit on the road you will watch people exceed you and are at risk of being taken down. You need to move.

You don’t need to race, but if you’re on the track towards your goal then you better get moving; risk taking the wrong turn here and there, bumping into some unexpected stop signs along the way, and move at the pace you feel comfortable at. As long as you’re moving.

It’s not just about seizing the day anymore. We’re here to seize opportunity. To take control and welcome the results and chances and paths we desire, and to turn down anything that is less than the greatness we want.

Don’t sit comfortably waiting for a maybe or a one off, temporary win. Get up. Move. Bring the opportunities to you, and when you can’t bring them to you, bring yourself to them.
