Opportunities don't knock.... they are Created...!

It's never too late....

At a certain point in my life, I started feeling like “I am done”, “I am losing the pace”. My friends, colleagues and everyone else around me is carrying on in their life, while I am stuck at the same place, without a glimpse of growth, opportunity coming my way. 

Then, I gave myself a break, a break of good six months, in a bet to get hold of my life and understand the essence of life. It was during this break that I realized that life treats you the way you want to be treated. If you sit idly and feel pity for yourself then you aren’t going to make your way. If you are waiting for roses to fall in your lap so you can simply enjoy the fragrance, well in that case you are daydreaming and waiting for some unrealistic magic wand to simply roll over and change your situation. 

For there is no free lunch in life. Opportunities do come, only if you are willing to work hard for them.

Abraham Lincoln once said, “I will prepare and someday my chance will come.”

I learned & understand that opportunities come in weird shapes and sizes. Often wrapped in challenges, and you just let it go without even trying to unveil them.

Today, I see unbelievable success from situations that at the time looked like anything but an opportunity.

“When opportunity knocks . . .” opportunities don’t knock, they are created from the lap of passion, zeal, commitment, and hard work.

We all should give it a try, at least once we should try to understand that not every opportunity will look like one at the time, so when you see one, grab it from both hands. Sometimes that door opens only for a second and we must be ready to step right in at that moment.

So, when next time opportunity comes, will you be able to recognize them?
