These opinions may be unpopular but need to be said.

I’ve been told that my approach can be very different from the regular stuff you hear online, so I broke some of it down here:?

Be warned some of it may not be comfortable to hear and that’s just a chance to look deeper and see where growth is available.?

Common job search advice 1??:

Do this thing to your LinkedIn profile, say this thing when you answer, do that, do this, and then that again.???????

I say: Do your inner work first, get clear and congruent with who you are and who you want to be.

Go internally FIRST to discover what needs to happen externally.Discover what’s not congruent so you can move ahead.

Common job search advice 2??:

Get the keywords right to get through the ATS.?

?????? I say: Talk to real humans, don’t even bother with the ATS, don’t even bother with online application forms that take you a bazillion buckets of your time to fill out, don’t even bother with long tedious take-home assignments, (unless they are actually really fun for you)...& can be used in the future to showcase your skills.?

Use that time instead to gleefully get in contact with the real humans!

At some point, that’s the end game anyway, so troubleshoot how to do that effectively first.

It’s not only faster, but it’s more fun and more connective, and humans are way more helpful than auto rejections or no responses.

Even when they’re not the most helpful, it’s still a 10000% better use of your time.

Common advice3??:

Don’t get down about rejections; they weren’t worth your time anyway!?

?????? I say: Feel them and learn how to process a feeling of being disappointed because that is one of the feelings you pay for success with.

It was normal to want something and to be sad you didn’t get it, and it’s a normal part of ANY successful process, get friendly with those emotions allow them to move through you gracefully.Don’t push them down or try to ignore them.

They will just come back harder until you learn them.

Common advice 4??:

It’s a Numbers game! Send in as many applications as you can!?

?????? I say: There are sooo many things we can do to create a process that sets us up for huge success not just this time but the next time and the time after that too.

That most people don’t know!?

If we’re going to do this job search and have a career anyway, we might as well make it as fun as possible, be as supported as possible, and use the experience of it to its max to help us grow your figuring it out muscles to be big and strong for whatever else comes your way!?

Common advice 5??:

Practice these sample answers so you can get them “right” and impress them!

?????? I say: Nah! You’re in the interview here’s where you do inner work to:

A) Create a solid confidence in your skill first and internalize your greatness first.

B) Prep ahead of time how you’ll think and feel ahead of time, even when they ask you things you don’t know.

C) Trust yourself to know you’re shit! Because you do! Or you wouldn’t be in a position to be doing interviews!?

Common advice 6??:?

Connect with them by finding things in common like baseball or knitting!?

?????? I say: Actually, yeah do that! If it’s genuine of course!

It’s awesome to connect on a human level about things outside of work.

That's what draws us to our right people!

Do you love iridology?

Talk about it!The right people will come right out of the woodwork to talk with you about it.?

Common advice 7??:

Do this one strategy and be CONSISTENT and committed to it: IE apply for this many jobs on job sites per day.

?????? I say: If that works for you, great.

But if you’ve submitted 19 applications a day for 90 days and no interviews?

I don’t care who said keep doing it.?

?????? I also say: There are eleven billion strategies to choose from! Applying through Indeed is just 1, and it’s the one most people do and therefore the most crowded!?

Here’s some others ALL proven by clients who have gotten creative!?

?? Commenting on posts can get you a job!?

?? Joining LinkedIn groups and interacting with like-minded members can lead you to your ideal job!??? Being a part of a slack group can lead you to a great job!?

?? Being part of a running group can get you the best job!?

?? Being on a podcast, (my clients get people reaching out from being interviewed on my podcast!)?

?? Being shouted out by someone on social that you’ve connected with

?? Being referred by someone in your network

?? Asking for an intro to someone you think is cool

?? Going through a list of companies you’ve invested in before and seeing if you know anyone at these companies!?

….and I could go on and on for how my clients have landed their jobs

!There is no one strategy, and if there were it would be GET CREATIVE!?it’s the one that makes you happy and WORKS FOR you (not anyone else)? They say alll this stuff and it all comes down to exactly one thing:?

Who you’re being when you’re going about your day!?

What place in your heart and mind are you acting FROM, and how many times have you practiced the person you want to become in your mind?

That’s how it works.

Be The person who has this already.

Not the person who’s struggling to get it!

Or…. We find a midpoint that will work.

Find this challenging?

Totally because it is! ??I’ve done it as I’ve ascended into different future versions of myself.

Let me share with you how it’s done in the simplest, most doable way possible.?

Get in on the party here because I’m teaching you all of it in a 2 weeklong party! ??

Only $100 to join!?
