Image creation tools are hotting up, but like most things in this space, don't believe every clickbait headline. Yes there is innovation. Yes this is an amazing time to be a digital worker with all the productivity enhancing tools that are here. But we have to receive all this information knowing that there's a race on to take ownership of the gen ai space.
The latest round of hype cycle releases has come for image creation tools.
It's easy to wow people with images of cute puppies or anime, but what about the kind of images you'd use in a blog post, for a non sexy industry, with zero budget...
Let's take a look, shall we?

New Course Starts 7 November
There's a new course format in town and it's all set for the big reveal this November!? Tuesday nights, 6-8pm, I'm trialing a new format for delivery which is shorter and punchier and has been designed specifically for the self-employeds, freelancers, contractors = my tribe!
If you know anyone who needs to free up time, market their business a bit more, and not spend all night at their desk knocking out RFPs and tenders, then please share this link with them.

I'm giving a talk for ContractingPlus members today where I will be showing that it's here, now is the time to get started, and then I'll be doing lots of demo's showing how self employed people can use it to shave time and create better output.

1 年I have been using Dall-e3 through Bing chat extensively the last few weeks and its MUCH better than Dall-e2 was. The ability to iterate on prompts when you do it through bing is incredibly powerful. You don't get this same ability when you use the normal bing image generator. I also find bing is much better at creating realistic looking people (tends to have correct looking hands and faces more often than midjourney, although they still have the plastic look) and is much better at words and letters (albeit with often slightly wrong spelling). Midjourney for a while now has been the king of image gen but if they don't keep innovating they'll quickly fall behind. The last thing Dall-e3 needs is parameters (especially image size/ratio) and it will be incredibly strong competition.
