Intense Fighting on Multiple Frontlines as Ukrainian Forces Hold Their Ground

Over the past 24 hours, intense fighting has continued on multiple frontlines in Ukraine, with the Ukrainian Armed Forces steadfastly repelling numerous Russian attacks. From the northern Kharkiv region to the contested areas in the south, the scale of Russian assaults has shown no signs of abating, yet Ukrainian defenders maintain their positions under immense pressure.

Relentless Attacks and Heavy Shelling

From the early hours of the day, Russian forces launched 132 attacks across various sectors, accompanied by a missile strike, 73 aerial bombardments, and the deployment of over 610 kamikaze drones. Ukrainian positions and civilian areas were targeted in approximately 3,000 artillery and rocket strikes, emphasizing the persistence of the assault.

On the Kharkiv front, Ukrainian defenders faced seven engagements with Russian troops. Five attacks near the towns of Vovchansk and Tykhe were repelled, while two battles were still ongoing at the time of the report. Despite relentless pressure, Ukrainian soldiers held their ground, demonstrating resilience under repeated onslaughts.

Kupiansk and Lyman Directions Remain Key Battlefronts

On the Kupiansk sector, enemy forces attempted to dislodge Ukrainian troops nine times, focusing on key points such as Pishchane, Kruhliakivka, Stepanivka Novoselivka, Lozova, Vysnieve, and Pershotravneve. Despite these efforts, two clashes were reported to be still underway.

The Lyman front remains a hotspot of heavy fighting, where Russian troops conducted 12 assaults, aiming to advance toward Hrekivka, Terny, Novomykhailivka, Torske, and Seredianka. Ukrainian units successfully thwarted eight of these attacks, while four skirmishes were ongoing, with the situation reported as under control.

Strategic Defense in Pokrovske and Kramatorsk Sectors

In the Pokrovske sector, Russian forces launched a total of 37 offensives throughout the day, attempting to breach Ukrainian defensive lines near Selidove, Novotoretske, Lysiivka, Sukha Balka, Promin, Sukhy Yar, and other locations. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 29 attacks, with eight engagements still active as of the last update. Although the situation remains challenging, the Ukrainian military maintains control over this vital sector.

Similarly, in the Kramatorsk region, Ukrainian units faced five assaults in the areas of Stupochky, Bila Hora, and Hryhorivka. The enemy's attempts to improve their tactical positions were effectively countered, with all of their efforts halted.

Heavy Fighting Intensifies in Kurakhove and Other Key Frontlines

The Kurakhove sector witnessed 30 combat engagements during the day, with Russian forces actively attempting to break through near Katerynivka, Antonivka, Novodmytrivka, Kreminna Balka, Zoryane, Hostre, and Dalne. Ukrainian troops managed to fend off 26 of these attacks, with four battles still ongoing as Russian forces continue to press their advances.

On the Vremivka front, five battles were reported, with all enemy assaults being successfully repelled near Bohoyavlenka, Novoukrainka, and Zolota Niva.

Continued Resistance on Orikhiv and Other Fronts

In the Orikhiv region, Ukrainian troops foiled an enemy attack near Novodanilivka. Meanwhile, in the Dnipro sector, Ukrainian forces repelled four assaults on their defensive lines. Despite heavy enemy fire and continued attempts to dislodge Ukrainian troops, the situation remains stable, with Ukrainian defenders holding their positions firmly.

Strategic Operations Continue in the Kursk Region

Beyond the Ukrainian borders, the Kursk region remains a focal point of strategic operations. Russian aircraft continue to target their own territory with guided bombs. Over the past 24 hours, 27 airstrikes involving 21 guided bombs were reported, suggesting potential internal challenges and disarray within the Russian military’s operations.

Saluting the Courage of Ukrainian Troops

Today, the valor and resilience of Ukraine’s military are exemplified by the efforts of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 35th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi, the 38th Separate Marine Brigade, the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade of Tavria, and the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. These units have shown extraordinary determination in holding the line and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

A Call to Unity and Strength

As the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to defend their nation, the message is clear: Unity is our strength. The stakes are high, and every battle tests the resolve of the defenders. The courage of the Ukrainian soldiers in facing superior enemy forces is an inspiration to all.

Join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Together, we will prevail! ? Glory to Ukrainian Heroes! Glory to Ukraine! ????
