Emergency Services Times
For the latest news and information on all emergency services.
Hi Reader,
The Police Superintendents Association conference took place this week. HMI Andy Cooke spoke there and, launching the inspectorate’s latest report on activism an impartiality, shared some uncomfortable findings that explain why he said this was the toughest report he’d done since taking over the role as Chief Inspector.
Add to this the fascinating insights from Dr Rick Muir on what to expect from the government when it comes to reforming the police, it shows that attending conferences in person is critical to finding out what’s going on across the emergency services.
Which leads me nicely on to urge you all to come and join us at The Emergency Services Show and The Emergency Tech Show next week. Be curious like me, keep learning and join us for 55 sessions of CPD-accredited content. Well worth a trip to the NEC in Birmingham. Read more below.
