#Operation Madrid

Just remembered another story, end on 2002 I suddenly found my manager at this time want me to travel to Madrid instead one of my colleagues as we was urgent and he didn't have a Schengen visa.

Where is the problem? there was two not one .... first the travel was to handle an #angry Spanish client and my colleague was not happy that I'm travelling instead of him so he was not really interested in handing over the project to me ... and I have to travel next day (So it is 3 not 2).

So I fly to Madrid, found some of the Spanish dealer (our partner) waiting for me in the airport and took me directly to the office keep working and discussing our plans till late night with no food, finally they drop me late night in a hotel just in the middle of no where.

I checked in and run to the restaurant try to catch anything, I still remember that the only available food was potato croquette which was fine, I start eating then I saw some pinky tiny staff inside the potato, I was afraid to ask about it ... but the answer was YES it's pork which I cannot eat :( I was about to cry leaving the dinner and going back to my room.

Next day we met our client and things went unexpectedly good, I don't know how but it works well, and end of the day we decide to hand out, the guys decide to go watch a movie "Gangs of New York" and before leaving with them I just realized that movies in Spain are in Spanish audio without subtitles, so they just left me alone to manage my own business.

#Lessons_Learnt:

When people felt they are trust they will do everything possible to keep this trust.

Depending on beginners luck could be a good plan (but try to make it plan B)

I never went to Madrid again
