The Corporate Responsibility (CR) approach that we adopt is three-fold - we support our community by involving our employees in various initiatives, we encourage and enable our customers to be part of the process through the “Give Back” option on our application, and we work hand-in-hand with our partners to support and amplify their projects.

It is a journey we choose to embark upon that is driven by our passion, dedication, and human-centric values.?

With every initiative that contributes significantly to the best interests of our community, we feel further compelled to continue finding ways to support giving back in any way we can.

Ramadan: A Humanitarian Window where CR Efforts Shine!

During the holy month of Ramadan, we closely collaborated with numerous charitable organizations to put several humanitarian initiatives into action.?

These initiatives supported families in Gaza, in response to the dire situation there, as well as local communities in Jordan, providing monetary aid and in-kind donations to those in need.

Through these initiatives, we embodied being a purpose-driven company that puts technology at the disposal of its communities by enabling? customers? to contribute to multiple charitable initiatives through the talabat app. The generosity of our customers helped us facilitate a donation of? over JD 72,000 with around JD 23,000 specifically for Gaza.

A Light of Hope!

talabat’s CR efforts transcend the local scene, empowering? regional communities as well. In addition to supporting Gaza by donating food parcels, charitable packages and health supplies, talabat also donated one million Ramadan Iftar meals to the World Food Programme "Iftar Gaza" campaign, as part of the long-standing partnership between both parties. This initiative benefitted over 33,000 displaced people, primarily women and children, in Rafah, the Gaza Strip, and North Gaza.???????

Additionally, we partnered with the JORDAN HASHEMITE CHARITY ORGANISATION and Tkiyet Um Ali to raise funds, as well as effectively procure and distribute essential care packages and food supplies to those in need across Gaza.

A Sustainable Impact?

On a local level, talabat continued its humanitarian efforts to fight hunger in the Kingdom, continuing its strategic partnership with the Jordanian Food Bank (JFB), allowing customers to donate food parcels to beneficiaries of the JFB. Through this partnership, we supported 40 underprivileged families during Ramadan, with talabaty’s actively volunteering to distribute the food parcels.

In a further testament to its charitable commitments, talabat streamlined the Zakat process for its customers during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative provided customers with a convenient and secure way to fulfill their Zakat obligations, as well as offer additional contributions to support Tkiyet Um Ali’s "Your Zakat to Jordan and Gaza" Ramadan campaign.

?We also took part in a special initiative that was unveiled on Arab Orphan Day, observed on the first Friday of April each year. As part of this initiative, talabat Jordan awarded a scholarship to a student under the AL-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans , covering the full tuition fees for a four-year undergraduate program at a public university. Additionally, we facilitated convenient online donations, enabling customers to contribute generously to Al Aman fund, empowering orphans to complete their education and become effective members of their society in the future.

The most humbling aspect about being on the humanitarian forefront is that you can see the impact and feel the change you always desire to be part of. This impact, and this change, combined with our systematic CR efforts and endeavors serve as a fuel for all our humanitarian efforts at talabat.
